This message is remarkable because it confirms entirely all the elements of the ascension scenario as discussed on this website during the last four years and because the channeller, whom I follow very closely for a long time, has no clue about what is actually happening.
If ignorance can be in rare occasions innocent truthfulness, then she proves it with this message.
I will not delve in this foreword into detailed analysis of this Metatron message and why I consider it an important verification of all our ideas on the ascension process. I have done this in the text below as notes. It sufficed to say at this place that the newly observed “phenomenon of unanimity of mental and emotional concepts and ideas” of the more awakened portion of humanity, which I diagnosed only a few days ago with great precision, is currently the most reliable fact that we are really on the cusp of our move to New Lemuria and that all the events now flow into the mighty process of the ascension that cannot be averted by any dark force, no matter what idiocies some dark channelling sources such as CA may tell their dumbed down channellers.

Dearly Beloved Children of Light,
When the key holders (light warriors of the first and the last hour, note George) awaken, and activate their hidden potential, when the key holders awaken to the truth of that which they are, and the pineal and pituitary and third eye activate, the heart codices are brought into alignment with that which they are here to uphold.
Through said activations, the heart begins to send a signal akin to a sonar in your ships, said signal travel through the distance at lightning speed, for in truth there is no distance between you, for indeed you are all operating on the same spectrum of light. (This description applies to the light work done by the PAT in the last four years in a conscious manner and much longer by many of us. Note, George)
But once the key holders fully awaken to their identities, and raise their vibrations, their vehicles of choice shall begin to vibrate on a new frequency, and so the sonar that they indeed send out into the world, does not only stop within the matrix of your creation but continues out into the universe until it reaches the highest pinnacle of truth, that is, their higher selves (This is another, to my taste, somewhat naive presentation of our work as Logos Gods from the fulcrum of our HS which we exert since we were advanced to this mission. This happened in May 2014 for the PAT and in November 2013 for Carla and myself. Note, George)
Whence such moment arrives, the activation of said key holders shall come into perfect alignment with the creative energies flowing to Gaia, and from therein, utilizing the respective energies and encodings, the key holders shall send another sonar signal which shall resonate with the hidden vices, held sacred in the mountain tops of your known world. Whereby not only those mountaintops which are visible to the naked eye shall begin their awakening, but those laying beneath the layers of time, laying beneath the oceans, and those located within the sphere of this planet. Once reached, and confirmed, once the resonance has indeed been established, a doorway is opened for the beholder to glean through the veil of forgetfulness, and to fully cognitively understand their respective decrees with which they have come into this matrix. The decrees with which they have come, are then translated by their higher selves into human understanding, and from therein, the key holders are able to cognitively take their righteous place upon this planet in preparation for major activation which is set to take place on a particular note and octave of BEing.
(This description applies to the current final phase of preparation of the PAT standing on the verge of the global breakthrough of the Universal Law. This website is a useful platform to promote the cognitive understanding of each individual mission after ascension at the mind level before the final transfiguration takes place. This intimate awareness of each light warrior in his future mission is an indispensable prerequisite for the streamlining of all our energies within the Christed Unity field that will trigger the final ascension of this uppermost mother planet and part of its population to the new 4D worlds in the Golden Galaxy and us to New Lemuria.
This final frequency leap has been circumscribed by us as the “PAT Supernova” as it will unleash incredibly powerful energies throughout All-That-Is that will have a ripple effect in numerous multiverses. Please observe the unanimity between this naive message in the absence of any deep, true knowledge of the channeller with regard to the actual nature of the ascension process and the in-depth elaborated version of the ascension process on this website since its opening more than 4 years ago.
The unanimity in the individual perceptions of many human beings that are now beginning to awaken for the whispers of their souls, but are still unable to mould these insights into a consistent and comprehensive idea of ascension, is a new phenomenon that did not exist only a few months ago. As already discussed by myself, it is the most reliable indication that the incarnated personalities, here described as “key holders”, which are entirely old souls, some more, some less mired in the 3D matrix, are now being fully aligned by their HS and prepared for the PAT Supernova, which they will energetically support.
It has always been the crux of our ascension that these light warriors did not awaken in due time and the burden of ascension had to be carried only on a few shoulders, those of the PAT. That is why the ascension process had so many turns and twists and we had to resort to unique, never used before energetic resolutions to push forward with the ascension process, notwithstanding all the setbacks caused by the failure of the light workers community. That is not to say that you shall arrive to a new world overnight, that is to say that through the activation of said vortexes and annulment of all karmic debt that human earth and human souls dwelling therein have acquired, shall propel them to awaken to their understanding of BEing, shall propel them to understand the karmic experience, understand the karmic experience and proceed benevolently into a new cognition of BEing, forgiving that which they have experienced, being grateful for said cognition, knowing, feeling and understanding that said reality structure of the past no longer has any association, nor place in a new world in which they wish to dwell.
(This passage describes the interim period of that portion of humanity that will ascend to the new 4D worlds. Before that they need to undergo the paradigm shift at all levels. However, the most dramatic change always happens at the collective level and it can only be carried by the implementation of the new theory of the Universal Law. All individual openings that are also necessary and important can only be successful if they are embedded in a new consensual collective Weltanschauung which will be based on the validity of the new science of the Universal Law.
This also explains the growing unanimity in opinions and perceptions among the awakening humans. One must bear in mind that all these entities have their incarnations in the new 4D worlds, where the introduction and full acceptance of the new theory of the Universal Law has already taken place and their soul fragments hugely profit from it. This knowledge is now trickling down into the minds of the incarnated soul fragments on this uppermost mother planet, so that the threshold for a profound paradigm change on this timeline is also reached.
As we shall read below, there is a fair chance that this will happen around the last blood moon on September 28th. I already made you aware of this date when I discussed the new phenomenon of perceptive unanimity that is now encompassing the collective mindset of humanity. There is a growing wave of expectations that something huge and dramatic will happen around the last blood moon. Even when such expectations are religiously tainted, their emotional power is huge and will render the final outcome, for which we have been labouring so arduously for so many years – the awakening of mankind for the transcendental, multidimensional nature of all incarnated human souls. With this the end of this holographic model will come and this humanity will move to the new 4D worlds, while a few highly evolved individuals will ascend to New Lemuria, which we, the light warriors of the first and the last hour, have created last month as a clean template for the new transgalactic humanity. And so and thus, the preparation of said key holders of which there are 36,000 vibrating on feminine and masculine frequencies, has indeed began.
(There is no way to confirm this number, but according to our information from the Elohim until now there were less than 3300 light warriors of the first and the last hour who actually accomplished the Tantalus act of ascending Gaia and humanity. That is why many of them were advanced to Logos Gods beyond their wildest expectations prior to incarnation last summer and that is why we (Carla and I) were ordered by our HS to stay longer in this reality and help these light warriors enter their new function as they helped us tremendously to perform our mission as Elohim and Creator Gods. The preparation of said key holders has begun and shall continue full force until the last of your blood moons of your earthly year. And whence such moment occurs and it will, the key holders shall merge, swirling within the sphere of unconditional love for each other and through the sphere, through the vortex that they shall generate, the “sonar” signal shall double in its power, travel through time and space, connecting with other said vortices generated by all key holders, culminating in a giant spinning vortex of positive and negative polarities, creating a void sphere of influence, whereby all past, future and present “karmic debts” shall be voided fully and completely and from therein a new clean slate of understanding shall begin to emerge.
(This is a very precise presentation of the PAT Supernova and its cleansing energetic effects. If you go back to 2012 and 2103 and read one more time our discussions on the PAT Supernova, you will recollect that it was mainly associated with the release of our lower three chakras during the moment of ascension, which are then delegated and merge fully with the energetic field of Gaia, while the upper three chakras and the heart chakra fully align with the energetic structure of 5D. The three lower chakras which are low vibrating carry essentially the karmic patterns of the incarnated personality. Nonetheless, the free will of human souls shall continue to be in effect for a short duration in which time the idea of karma and the understanding of said structure shall dissipate and seize to exist on your planet.
(I have always supported the idea that, although there will be a frequential leap and dramatic increase in awareness in that portion of humanity that will ascend to the new 4D worlds, while we move to New Lemuria, this will happen nonetheless in a seamless manner, while preserving the collective notion of social continuity, until all old ideas are shed off and then the visible reality will begin to change very rapidly. And for those souls who shall still wish to continue said experience they shall be given an opportunity to experience said reality in the matrix that most shall void. (This message alludes to all unripe souls who are not ready for ascension and will remain on lower catastrophic 3D or 4D timelines after the ID shift where they will continue with their dreadful karmic experiences in the Orion matrix. And so, and thus, the stabilizing effect of energies, the merging of various polarities, the expansion of consciousness, continues to be in effect through the clearing and cleansing and purifying energies embracing your earthly sphere of cognition daily. Be mindful of that which you see unfold rapidly before you, stay grounded, stay in the NOW. Remember your divinity. Dear Georgi,
Deep gratitude for the information that you provide to us all, I really admire the way you present it, and to quote Johan from Sweden “if I can finally understand the beauty of the law then anyone can… really!” Johan really has made me smile for days as I have really been trying to grasp the law. I am now on my third attempt at reading your publications and every time something else just clicks, and Johan has given me hope and helped me release any frustration I’ve been going through with regards to the law, thankyou Johan and thankyou Georgi and the PAT.
I thought that you may enjoy this poem written by my son, when I came across it I couldn’t help but think that my son truly is a crystalline child and just how lucky as parents to have him near us with his awesome energies. Unanimity in opinions is the key word of the current End Time. The nearer we get to the Ascension Day (A-Day), the more congruent and clear the expressed opinions of the critical intellectuals who still dwell on this uppermost mother planet after this social caste was wiped out from the social landscape with the begin of the neo-liberal, globalist policy of ruining the world economy and debasing humanity. Its aim was, shortly before ascension, to prevent this event and enslave most of the people for another interminable period of gruesome karmic experiences on lower 3D and 4D timelines.
You may wonder why I pay so much attention to the unanimity in opinions, in particular with regard to critical agnostic thinkers and journalists. Because they are the actual driving force of all social change and without this change we cannot ascend. The moment when sufficient intellectuals acquire their full true version of this illusory reality, which the old rigged system based on fraudulent beliefs that the Orion elite have imposed on the people through the MSM and official political doctrines, it will simply cease to exist. First comes the idea and then the 3D holographic illusion as an external reality. The more the idea of truthfulness is collectively supported, the quicker the society will change.
It is true that we, the last warriors of the first and the last hour, are the spearhead of this global movement for a greater realism and that we are also the carriers of the source energies that currently transform humanity to this end – first and foremost the minds of the critical, agnostic thinkers. But we can only achieve the paradigm shift after we have educated a sufficient number of followers, who can begin to express our views “on their own”.
Please observe the term “on their own”. The people can only truly awaken if they make it on their own and we as Logos Gods have the divine objective to protect and forge their free will in this painful process of awakening. Everything comes from within and nothing that comes from outside and is in imposition on the individual free will can endure the coming big changes.
We had to wait so long for our ascension precisely because all the so-called “inteligentsija” in the East and the “intellectuals” in the West were in a deep slumber for so long time and needed the dramatics of the recent political, economic and financial events to begin to open their eyes to the dire truth about this planet.
I remember only several years ago when I admonished the toxicity of this planet as unique in the whole multiverse on this website and what “toxic” reactions this revelation elicited from the “half-slumbering, half-awakened” light workers. Truth elicits great fears in most humans and this is the most clear sign that they are not very much evolved.
Nowadays, nobody is outraged anymore by such blunt statements as the facts speak an unmistakable language and because the critical intellectuals in East and West have awakened enough to see the truth more clearly with each day on their own. This is entirely our achievement as we have accomplished a tremendous inter-counciling work on all these advanced souls and have slowly incorporated them into the Christed Unity Field of the PAT. These high vibrating energies activate the clarity of the mind in most humans beyond recognition.
Indeed, it took longer than expected, but what counts at the end is the positive final outcome – the Orlovs, the Sakers, the Alex Jones are beginning to awaken fully and to depart from their past petty, 3D tainted stories, gaining more courage and intellectual dexterity to encounter the naked truth with open eyes and not with “eyes wide shut”, as was the case in the past.
This human civilisation and this planet are in their last throes in the current energetic form and what will come next is the divine schism. The four apocalyptic horsemen will come and bring the vast part humanity to their new dreadful homeland in the lower timelines of this earth and the few chosen will ascend to New Lemuria or move to the new 4D worlds. This last knowledge is still hidden behind the veil of forgetfulness for most critical thinkers, but they progress with big steps towards this insight.
The latest article of Dmitri Orlov, a traveller between the two worlds – the East and West, “like twins that never meet”, to quote Rudyard Kipling – is an excellent example as to how quickly the intellectual insights of these critical thinkers now progress. These second ascension wavers have just arrived at the final biggest hindrance in incarnated human life – the acknowledgment of the infinite multidimensional world behind the veil of forgetfulness, which is a frequency barrier that we, the incumbent Logos Gods in human gestalt, have overcome in the course of our LBP years ago.

It’s Really Very Simple

There are times when a loud cry of “The emperor has no clothes!” can be most copacetic. And so, let me point out something quite simple, yet very important.
The old world order, to which we became accustomed over the course of the 1990s and the 2000s, its crises and its problems detailed in numerous authoritative publications on both sides of the Atlantic—it is no more. It is not out sick and it is not on vacation. It is deceased. It has passed on, gone to meet its maker, bought the farm, kicked the bucket and joined the crowd invisible. It is an ex-world order.
If we rewind back to the early 1980s, we can easily remember how the USSR was still running half of Europe and exerting major influence on a sizable chunk of the world. World socialist revolution was still sputtering along, with pro-Soviet regimes coming in to power here and there in different parts of the globe, the chorus of their leaders’ official pronouncements sounding more or less in unison. The leaders made their pilgrimages to Moscow as if it were Mecca, and they sent their promising young people there to learn how to do things the Soviet way. Soviet technology continued to make impressive advances: in the mid-1980s the Soviets launched into orbit a miracle of technology—the space station Mir, while Vega space probes were being dispatched to study Venus.
But alongside all of this business-as-usual the rules and principles according which the “red” half of the globe operated were already in an advanced state of decay, and a completely different system was starting to emerge both at the center and along the periphery. Seven years later the USSR collapsed and the world order was transformed, but many people simply couldn’t believe in the reality of this change. In the early 1990s many political scientists were self-assuredly claiming that what is happening is the realization of a clever Kremlin plan to modernize the Soviet system and that, after a quick rebranding, it will again start taking over the world. People like to talk about what they think they can understand, never mind whether it still exists.
And what do we see today? The realm that self-identifies itself as “The West” is still claiming to be leading economically, technologically, and to be dominant militarily, but it has suffered a moral defeat, and, strictly as a consequence of this moral defeat, a profound ideological defeat as well.
It’s simple.
1. How can they talk of the inviolability of private property while confiscating the savings of depositors in Cypriot banks?
2. How can they talk of safeguarding the territorial integrity of countries while destroying, in turn, Yugoslavia, Iraq, Libya, Syria and Ukraine?
3. How can they talk of free enterprise and then sign contracts to build ships but refuse to deliver them because of pressure from Washington, as happened with Mistral ships which Russia ordered from France?
4. How can they talk of democracy and then use naked threats against the premier of Greece—the birthplace of European democracy—forcing him to ignore the unprofitable results of the Greek national referendum?
5. How can they talk about fighting racism while in the US they are constantly shooting mass quantities of unarmed Negros, all the while forbidding people to call them Negros.
6. How can they accuse the Serbs of genocide while refusing to acknowledge what they did to supposedly “independent” Kosovo, which has been turned into a European criminal enclave specializing in the production and distribution of narcotics?
7. How can they claim to oppose extremism and terrorism while training, arming and financing ISIS and the Ukrainian Neo-nazis?
8. How can they talk about justice while the US maintains the largest prison population in the history of the world and has executed many people subsequently discovered to have been innocent?
9. How can they talk about freedom of religion after the US federal government exterminated the Branch Davidians in Waco, Texas, and then imprisoned the survivors, even though the government’s allegations against the sect have subsequently been proven to be false?
10. How can they accuse others of corruption after the colossal financial embarrassment of 2008, in the run-up to which obvious financial bubbles that were ready to bust were assigned the highest ratings?
What has happened is the worst thing that could have possibly happened: in full view of the entire world, “Western values” have been demonstrated to be null and void.
If you think that these are just some specific examples of difficulties or mistakes that could potentially be overcome in some dim and foggy future, then you are wrong: this is all of the “Western values” worth mentioning, and they have all been invalidated by observation. Note the past tense: they already have been invalidated. Are there any “Western values” left intact? Oh yes, just one: the rights of sexual minorities. But it is not possible to maintain Western civilization on the strength of gay marriage alone.
Is it any wonder then that the rest of the world is trying to put as much distance between itself and the morally bankrupt “West” as it possibly can, as quickly as it can? China is working on developing its own model, Russia is striving for self-sufficiency and independence from Western imports and finance, and even Latin America, once considered the backyard of the US, is increasingly going its own separate way.
The ranks of the fools who are still buying the West’s story are shrinking, while the ranks of the rebels are growing. There is the truth-teller Edward Snowden, who was forced to flee to Moscow to avoid persecution back home. There are European parliamentarians who recently broke ranks and visited Crimea. There are French and German military men who are volunteering to defend Eastern Ukraine against Western attack. There are the many European businessmen who came to the Economics Forum in St. Petersburg to sign trade deals with Russia, never mind what their politicians think of that.
On the other side, the rapidly emerging new world order was recently on display in Ufa, capital of the majority-Moslem Republic of Bashkortostan in Southern Urals, Russian Federation. Leaders of more than half the world’s population came there to sign deals, integrate their economies, and coordinate security arrangements. India and Pakistan set their differences aside and walked in through the door at the same time; Iran is next. “The West” was not represented there.
Now that all Western values (other than the rights of sexual minorities) have been shown to be cynical exercises in hypocrisy, there is no path back. You see, it is a matter of reputation, and a reputation is something that one can lose exactly once. There is a path forward, but it is very frightening. There is the loss of control: Western institutions can no longer control the situation throughout much of the world, including, in due course, on their own territory. There is the abandonment of the Western narrative: Western pontificators, pundits and “thought leaders” will find that their talking points have been snatched away and will be reduced to either babbling apologetically or lapsing into embarrassed silence. Finally, there is the loss of identity: it is not possible, for the non-delusional, to identify with something (“The West”) that no longer exists.
But the most frightening thing of all is this: behind a morally bankrupt civilization there are morally bankrupt people—lots and lots of them. Their own children, who will be forced to make their way in the world—however it turns out to be—will be as disrespectful of them as they were of their own vaunted civilizational values.

You may wonder why I pay so much attention to the unanimity in opinions, in particular with regard to critical agnostic thinkers and journalists. Because they are the actual driving force of all social change and without this change we cannot ascend. The moment when sufficient intellectuals acquire their full true version of this illusory reality, which the old rigged system based on fraudulent beliefs that the Orion elite have imposed on the people through the MSM and official political doctrines, it will simply cease to exist. First comes the idea and then the 3D holographic illusion as an external reality. The more the idea of truthfulness is collectively supported, the quicker the society will change.
It is true that we, the last warriors of the first and the last hour, are the spearhead of this global movement for a greater realism and that we are also the carriers of the source energies that currently transform humanity to this end – first and foremost the minds of the critical, agnostic thinkers. But we can only achieve the paradigm shift after we have educated a sufficient number of followers, who can begin to express our views “on their own”.
Please observe the term “on their own”. The people can only truly awaken if they make it on their own and we as Logos Gods have the divine objective to protect and forge their free will in this painful process of awakening. Everything comes from within and nothing that comes from outside and is in imposition on the individual free will can endure the coming big changes.
We had to wait so long for our ascension precisely because all the so-called “inteligentsija” in the East and the “intellectuals” in the West were in a deep slumber for so long time and needed the dramatics of the recent political, economic and financial events to begin to open their eyes to the dire truth about this planet.
I remember only several years ago when I admonished the toxicity of this planet as unique in the whole multiverse on this website and what “toxic” reactions this revelation elicited from the “half-slumbering, half-awakened” light workers. Truth elicits great fears in most humans and this is the most clear sign that they are not very much evolved.
Nowadays, nobody is outraged anymore by such blunt statements as the facts speak an unmistakable language and because the critical intellectuals in East and West have awakened enough to see the truth more clearly with each day on their own. This is entirely our achievement as we have accomplished a tremendous inter-counciling work on all these advanced souls and have slowly incorporated them into the Christed Unity Field of the PAT. These high vibrating energies activate the clarity of the mind in most humans beyond recognition.
Indeed, it took longer than expected, but what counts at the end is the positive final outcome – the Orlovs, the Sakers, the Alex Jones are beginning to awaken fully and to depart from their past petty, 3D tainted stories, gaining more courage and intellectual dexterity to encounter the naked truth with open eyes and not with “eyes wide shut”, as was the case in the past.
This human civilisation and this planet are in their last throes in the current energetic form and what will come next is the divine schism. The four apocalyptic horsemen will come and bring the vast part humanity to their new dreadful homeland in the lower timelines of this earth and the few chosen will ascend to New Lemuria or move to the new 4D worlds. This last knowledge is still hidden behind the veil of forgetfulness for most critical thinkers, but they progress with big steps towards this insight.
The latest article of Dmitri Orlov, a traveller between the two worlds – the East and West, “like twins that never meet”, to quote Rudyard Kipling – is an excellent example as to how quickly the intellectual insights of these critical thinkers now progress. These second ascension wavers have just arrived at the final biggest hindrance in incarnated human life – the acknowledgment of the infinite multidimensional world behind the veil of forgetfulness, which is a frequency barrier that we, the incumbent Logos Gods in human gestalt, have overcome in the course of our LBP years ago.

It’s Really Very Simple

There are times when a loud cry of “The emperor has no clothes!” can be most copacetic. And so, let me point out something quite simple, yet very important.
The old world order, to which we became accustomed over the course of the 1990s and the 2000s, its crises and its problems detailed in numerous authoritative publications on both sides of the Atlantic—it is no more. It is not out sick and it is not on vacation. It is deceased. It has passed on, gone to meet its maker, bought the farm, kicked the bucket and joined the crowd invisible. It is an ex-world order.
If we rewind back to the early 1980s, we can easily remember how the USSR was still running half of Europe and exerting major influence on a sizable chunk of the world. World socialist revolution was still sputtering along, with pro-Soviet regimes coming in to power here and there in different parts of the globe, the chorus of their leaders’ official pronouncements sounding more or less in unison. The leaders made their pilgrimages to Moscow as if it were Mecca, and they sent their promising young people there to learn how to do things the Soviet way. Soviet technology continued to make impressive advances: in the mid-1980s the Soviets launched into orbit a miracle of technology—the space station Mir, while Vega space probes were being dispatched to study Venus.
But alongside all of this business-as-usual the rules and principles according which the “red” half of the globe operated were already in an advanced state of decay, and a completely different system was starting to emerge both at the center and along the periphery. Seven years later the USSR collapsed and the world order was transformed, but many people simply couldn’t believe in the reality of this change. In the early 1990s many political scientists were self-assuredly claiming that what is happening is the realization of a clever Kremlin plan to modernize the Soviet system and that, after a quick rebranding, it will again start taking over the world. People like to talk about what they think they can understand, never mind whether it still exists.
And what do we see today? The realm that self-identifies itself as “The West” is still claiming to be leading economically, technologically, and to be dominant militarily, but it has suffered a moral defeat, and, strictly as a consequence of this moral defeat, a profound ideological defeat as well.
It’s simple.
1. How can they talk of the inviolability of private property while confiscating the savings of depositors in Cypriot banks?
2. How can they talk of safeguarding the territorial integrity of countries while destroying, in turn, Yugoslavia, Iraq, Libya, Syria and Ukraine?
3. How can they talk of free enterprise and then sign contracts to build ships but refuse to deliver them because of pressure from Washington, as happened with Mistral ships which Russia ordered from France?
4. How can they talk of democracy and then use naked threats against the premier of Greece—the birthplace of European democracy—forcing him to ignore the unprofitable results of the Greek national referendum?
5. How can they talk about fighting racism while in the US they are constantly shooting mass quantities of unarmed Negros, all the while forbidding people to call them Negros.
6. How can they accuse the Serbs of genocide while refusing to acknowledge what they did to supposedly “independent” Kosovo, which has been turned into a European criminal enclave specializing in the production and distribution of narcotics?
7. How can they claim to oppose extremism and terrorism while training, arming and financing ISIS and the Ukrainian Neo-nazis?
8. How can they talk about justice while the US maintains the largest prison population in the history of the world and has executed many people subsequently discovered to have been innocent?
9. How can they talk about freedom of religion after the US federal government exterminated the Branch Davidians in Waco, Texas, and then imprisoned the survivors, even though the government’s allegations against the sect have subsequently been proven to be false?
10. How can they accuse others of corruption after the colossal financial embarrassment of 2008, in the run-up to which obvious financial bubbles that were ready to bust were assigned the highest ratings?
What has happened is the worst thing that could have possibly happened: in full view of the entire world, “Western values” have been demonstrated to be null and void.
If you think that these are just some specific examples of difficulties or mistakes that could potentially be overcome in some dim and foggy future, then you are wrong: this is all of the “Western values” worth mentioning, and they have all been invalidated by observation. Note the past tense: they already have been invalidated. Are there any “Western values” left intact? Oh yes, just one: the rights of sexual minorities. But it is not possible to maintain Western civilization on the strength of gay marriage alone.
Is it any wonder then that the rest of the world is trying to put as much distance between itself and the morally bankrupt “West” as it possibly can, as quickly as it can? China is working on developing its own model, Russia is striving for self-sufficiency and independence from Western imports and finance, and even Latin America, once considered the backyard of the US, is increasingly going its own separate way.
The ranks of the fools who are still buying the West’s story are shrinking, while the ranks of the rebels are growing. There is the truth-teller Edward Snowden, who was forced to flee to Moscow to avoid persecution back home. There are European parliamentarians who recently broke ranks and visited Crimea. There are French and German military men who are volunteering to defend Eastern Ukraine against Western attack. There are the many European businessmen who came to the Economics Forum in St. Petersburg to sign trade deals with Russia, never mind what their politicians think of that.
On the other side, the rapidly emerging new world order was recently on display in Ufa, capital of the majority-Moslem Republic of Bashkortostan in Southern Urals, Russian Federation. Leaders of more than half the world’s population came there to sign deals, integrate their economies, and coordinate security arrangements. India and Pakistan set their differences aside and walked in through the door at the same time; Iran is next. “The West” was not represented there.
Now that all Western values (other than the rights of sexual minorities) have been shown to be cynical exercises in hypocrisy, there is no path back. You see, it is a matter of reputation, and a reputation is something that one can lose exactly once. There is a path forward, but it is very frightening. There is the loss of control: Western institutions can no longer control the situation throughout much of the world, including, in due course, on their own territory. There is the abandonment of the Western narrative: Western pontificators, pundits and “thought leaders” will find that their talking points have been snatched away and will be reduced to either babbling apologetically or lapsing into embarrassed silence. Finally, there is the loss of identity: it is not possible, for the non-delusional, to identify with something (“The West”) that no longer exists.
But the most frightening thing of all is this: behind a morally bankrupt civilization there are morally bankrupt people—lots and lots of them. Their own children, who will be forced to make their way in the world—however it turns out to be—will be as disrespectful of them as they were of their own vaunted civilizational values.
